Hello all,

So while at the driving range today, I was pounding my three wood, were talking 270 from the deck. I mean clobbering it. It has a legit X Matrix F7M2, which is a lower launching shaft. Then i pull out the Driver, and am hitting just a variety of shots, Left, right, High, Low, All over. The Altus is a pretty low spin, high launch shaft, and mine, while it says strong flex, is CPM wise pretty much a Stiff flex. It plays a bit shorter than average, like 44.25, and the thing feels like absollute mush..

So my question is, Should i move to a Stiffer shaft? My SS is probobly 105-110, so according to Matrix, i should be in the X range.. but im not sure how those speeds corrolate to other comanies, as i really, really, dont want another high launch shaft, So heres what im thinking,

Either a 907D2, G10, or L4VX, shafted with,

Diamana WB 63X, or 75S, Matrix F6M2 in X.

Any thoughts on these set ups?

Thanks in advance,

Brian

FT-5 I mix, the way to go for best combos, that way you can try all of them right there.... They had the whiteboard (sick shaft, i know). Plus, with the new heads coming out, you'll be able to upgrade for less expensive.

Miller,

What weight is your WB? The WB is just so freakin smoothe feeling, i am right now thinking of a WB 63X in a Titty D2 8.5, get some spin with a low launch.

And as to the fitting, I really, really cannot go to my Local GS anymore.. The guy told me that i fitted best to a 13 degree head with a Regular flex Aldila NV..With a SS upward of 100.. Dont trust them anymore.
