Personally, I would never buy a putter without hitting it regardless of how much of a deal it is. I stood in Golf Galaxy for over an hour with 3 putters when I went shopping for a new one. You have to take your time and see what feels good in your hands and what looks good to your eye. One putter that I was really putting well with looked absolutely off when I was addressing the ball so I didn't buy it.

Check out the new Cleveland Classic line of putters. $80 new. They have an Anser style, Zing style and Odyssey #9 style.

Clay Long is the best putter maker that nobody has ever heard of. Remember the Response ZT putter that Jack Nicklaus won the 1986 Masters with? Clay Designed it. He's been Jack's clubmaker since Jack has had clubs made for him. His putter designs are beautiful and feel great. Check them out!

Before doing anything, at least go to a golf retailer in your area and hit some putts on their practice green to see how they feel. Be sure to check out their used collection if they have them. My last 2 putters have come from Golf Galaxy used putters and I got great deals. If you find a model that suits your eye and feels good to you you can then check out eBay or online discount retailers to see about finding that same model for cheaper. Before making purchases online make sure the model is the same as what you have tested (especially in regards to shaft configuration as this can make a huge difference from one model to another).

Cleveland just came out with some new blade putters for a really good price of $80 (or less). These putters have gotten good reviews, including in Gold Digest Hot List 2008.

Good luck putter hunting. There are so many models available that I'm sure you'll find something you will love, but just be sure to try them first since not everyone likes the same brands/models/configurations.

As everyone's said, there are thousands of options out there and putters are enormously personal.

You might start by trying to figure out what you don't like about your Zebra. Is it the mallet style? That it's face balanced? The shaft style? etc......

Once you know what you don't like, you can start looking for something else.

BTW.....you might not want to get rid of that Zebra, no matter what you end up with. You might be surprised. Every now and then my Scotty will end up in time-out for a week or two because of behavior problems......that's when my old Zebra comes out. Sometimes a completely different feel is just what I need to get my groove back.

I agree with PiKapp23, go to your local pro shop and try them, you might be surprised at what you like best and what feels best. Try some of the $250 putters also, even though you may not be in the market for one, you might be surprised that the $80 putter looks and putts just as well as the high end ones.

Good example, I took my daughter to Golf Galaxy to buy her a putter, she tried all of them, Ping, Nike, Scotty Cameron, Yes, but the one that fit her best, looked best to her, and she putted with the best was a $40 putter.

You will also be surprised at how many of the name brand manufactors like, Ping, Nike and such that have putters under $100

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?
