i've posted specifically about dynacraft before and got no responses, but hoping people have uses other hireko golf brands and would like to share their experiences. I've been a fan of some of gigagolf's products from my brief experience with them...does hireko live up to the same quality?

on a side note, I saw in the latest Golf Digest Hot List, Hireko's Acer XK Irons are listed under best value new clubs...does this bring legitimacy to companies like Hireko and Gigagolf? http://www.golfdigest.com/equipment/...ist_bestvalues

I bought an Acer XP 3w head from Hireko and it really impressed me. Very nice quality and the thing is a cannon. I stopped thinking about Hireko as a clone company when I read The Modern Guide to Shaft Fitting which was published by Dynacraft before Hireko acquired them, and is free for download at Hireko's website, including updates. It proved to me that they were very smart and serious about golf club technology.

I have a nearly complete set of clubs from Hireko, the Acer XP905. There service was good (fast service, responded to questions, etc); clubs have good quality; price is nice. I like the idea of being able to pick which clubs you get. I would have gotten wedges with them if they had milled face one.

Hireko was very good about a problem with the order. Fedex misplaced the clubs and said they were delivered. The missing clubs showed up about 8 hours after I placed a re-order. Hireko cancelled the re-order at no cost when I found the missing clubs on my front porch.

I have no complaints. I heard that Hireko has been around for a while.

A couple friends have purchased clubs through gigagolf and pinemeadows. Again good service and price. They have no complaints or issues.

I've been playing Acer XP905 Pro irons for about a year now. They are great irons, similar to Callaway X-20 Tour irons. Hireko has great service and their products are all pretty solid. Some of them, like the XP and XK series are top notch and finally being recognized as such.

I have a friend who buys from Hireko and he has never had problems. I have a lot of my clubs from Pinemeadow and I think they are outstanding. As I improve, I hope my opinion doesn't change. I can't justify paying $400 for a driver or close to $1000 for a set of irons... I'm not putting down anybody who does (I have hit with those clubs and they are nice) but... I think my $100 driver and $200 are just fine for my amateur status

I have 2 irons sets from Hireko and love them. They should be checked out. They have a new forged tour iron also and white 190 gram driver heads.

I have never purchased from Hireko, but years ago I bought a set of X-14 clones from GigaGolf.  They were ACER and performed well.  But the manufacture had gouged a couple of the shaft when preparing them for the epoxy to attach the club heads and they both broke right at the intersection with the club head after a few month use.  But I replaced the shafts and used these clubs for a few years and they preformed as well as the "real things" as best I could tell.

    • That was a good watch. When I started working on pelvis in the backswing. I thought, this sounds contradictory to those leg straightening threads on the site. Erik has already done a correction. Then the last lesson we went more down the route of feeling the right knee gains flex. It doesn’t, but the feeling keeps my knee position in a good range. Also, I just realized how much extra work my right hip needed to do to stabilize the body with the proper weight shift. Those glute and hip stabilizers got worked. 🤣 I wish this evolution in the golf instruction happened 20 years ago! 😭

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: squirt to the right due to to much arm not enough turn. • The first issue Erik spoke about is something we worked on for my swing during both GEARS sessions. GEARS was showing my pelvis center moving towards the ball during the back swing. I wasn’t the 4” guy though! This forced me to correct on the downswing to give myself space. My hip rotation was to high as well. We corrected it by first getting the weight off my heels in my stance and getting my posture correct. Then the feel was shifting back into my right hip at a 45 degree angle. This kept my pelvis center from moving towards the ball at the start of the backswing. I also didn’t sway back as much as I felt I did because of the angle I was shifting. Feel Ain’t Real. The cool thing about GEARS is as you work on something you can see the exact (Real) change happening. On video, it is much harder to spot this issue because of the 2D nature of filming. But I know what to look for now. Sadly, I was hurt all last year and most of this year so I really haven’t been able to work on it much. I did do a lot of backswing work though.
