Y'all have got to be kidding.

You really can't tell someone a particular putter will aim well for them -- it's dependent on their unique characteristics.

Even SeeMore has a triangulator to test if you're aiming where you think you're aiming... and then they tell you to make compensations once you know you're tendency to aim incorrectly!

The only real solution is

1. get lucky (with a putter)

2. Get an Edel Fitting and get an Edel Putter

3. Get an Edel Fitting and get a copycat of the putter Edel was going to make for you.

- the comments in this thread that start out "For me" or "My personal experience" are the best ones.....

like any other club - a good fitting would be great.  Especially one where I get to repeatedly line up from standing over the ball to see if I'm actually pointing the club where I think I'm aiming it (and then adjusting the club to actually do that....)  Parallax, eyeballs, offsets, face squareness all apply vs eye position, stance, grip, and stroke (and likely a whole lot more that fitters could dazzle us with - and then even more bull crap and snake oil beyond the real stuff)

I've gone trial and error and am just starting to figure it out - I'd love to get a pro fitting

so far - I personally ; )......  mallet, very big alignment line, fatty grip, - it's a cheap club

with that, I have to have pretty specific process in aiming and approaching my putts, I've completely worked over which grip feels 'right' for me.  Just starting to be better at bullseyeing from 6-8 feet, under that I really like my results a LOT.  over that, it seems my view of the shot isn't the same - pretty much an indication that I'm not really lined up with my putter purely, I'm inferring my line from an intermediate target likely around 4 feet and putting through that.

So if I get comfy with this putter, I doubt I can do any better without some focused changes and fitting.

But I'm really just winging it here.  clearly
