Looking for some tips

Why the heck do they feel the need to put stickers on golf clubs? I just got a 3wood from callawaygolfpreowned.com. It came with like 30 stickers on it everywhere from the shaft to th bottom of the clubhead. I was able to get the stickers off, but itt left behind some glue. Does anyone have anytips on how to get it off. I was using nail polish remover on the shaft (its a steel shaft) but I am afraid to use it n the club head I dont want to take off any of the paint. I am hoping someone can help me out. Thanks in advance.

they make some stuff called goo-gone it removes stuff like that you could prolly pick it up at wal mart.

Put a hair dryer up to it. Then after 30 seconds mayb more just wipe it off w/ a cloth.

I second the hair dryer option,,, usually helps to do it while the stickers are still on as you can get a corner up and use the hairdryer to peel it completely off from there.

You could also try lighter fluid (zippo or ronsonol) if you have it lying around. Any organic solvent should work i believe.

Hair dryer if you haven't tried to remove the sticker yet, otherwise, Goo-Gone. It works great.

I need some goo-gone for my clubs-haha. Dont think you can get that here! I just use a wet cloth. I agree with all these stickers. You get an authenticity sticker, a face sticker, a shaft price sticker, a grip cover, a plastic wrap, a bar code sticker. Why???

I always steal a little of my wifes firngernail polish remover. Works great and is always there.

Goo-gone. It works like a charm and it's safe for all surfaces.

I forget how you spell the stuff, but it's pronounced WD-40. Keep a can of that in the house, it's functions will amaze you!

I just use water and the rough side of a sponge.
