I am thinking of getting a small mallet putter. I can get the Macgregor DCT Sarasota putter for $45 and it seems pretty good. Anyone know anything about these??

I purchased a "Sunset" and have used it about 10 rounds and love it.

It will take a little getting used to.... the insert has forgiveness on the outside edges {heel and toe} for off-center hits.

This might explain better ..... at the 4:20 mark of the video.

      Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.

      I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
