New 3 Wood Cleveland 2009 Launcher

I was playing a round today and wife called to say my new 3 wood arrived.
She was good enough to bring it to the course. (Best Wife Ever!)

I got the new Cleveland 2009 Launcher 3 wood 15 degree. It came with the red shaft since I tend to hit the ball high.

First, I really like the way it sets up to the ball. It is square and just looks great to my eye. The small alignment mark is no distraction to me at all. I usually like a clean top to look at when I address the ball.

Second, the feel is great. The club doesn't feel too light or too heavy. For my swing it feels clean and smooth. No trouble feeling the club head through impact.

Third, the sound is clean, crisp, with a slight ping to it. No surprises there.

Fourth, I hit a ProV1X and the ball jumps off the face. It doesn't feel harsh, it just goes.

Fifth, The best part is the distance and the trajectory. The ball flight is a boring flight and there seems to be some extra roll after landing. This may be the only down side since it might be difficult to hold a green with it. I did not get to check that out since I started using it in the middle of the round.

Overall, I think I have found a dependable club that will help me reach some par 5's and keep the ball in play on short par 4's. All in all I am very pleased with the Launcher.

Not sure what your used to but that is not a small alignment mark

I am not used to any alignment mark, but I do not find the one on the Launcher to be distracting. I guess "small" is relative.

If it gets to be distracting, I have been known to sand them off. :)
