World's largest driving range

For some reason I was wondering where is the world's largest driving range. As far as I can tell, it's Lotte Kasai near Tokyo: 300 bays, three stories.

Pretty cool! Once you hit a ball, a new one is automatically teed up. There are also two "sand bays" for bunker practice.

That must be a wild experience when the bays are full and balls are flying off all around you.

In the library at school the other day I saw this in the 2009 Guiness Book of World Records and was pretty amazed. That would be a crazy experience I would think.

I know that Orange County National outside of Orlando has a 42 acre circular driving range with over 600 stations. That would have to be up there (I'm pretty sure it is at least the largest in North America).

What I play:

Driver: XLS Hibore 9.5* Fit-On Red (S)
Woods: Tour XPC 16* Graffaloy ProLite (S)
Hybrid: Exotics 3HIrons: Reid Lockhart 3-SWWedge: rac 60*Putter: a crappy $20 Academy putter (but it works!)

World Woods in Brooksville has a HUGE circular driving range too. its only 23 acres though. ive been there several times and its definitely the biggest range ive ever seen. plus they have practice holes, and a GIGANTIC 2 acre putting green

      Day 51 (yesterday was 50, not 59 -- that was a typo).  I didn't have a ton of time today.  I hit a dozen balls with a 6-iron in my practice room.   Amazingly, after this I did the ShotScope analysis of yesterday's round;  my approach play was at the 5 hcp level.  That's pretty darn good, but unfortunately for my score, some of that came from hitting a few good recovery shots.  But I also hit some really good approach shots that weren't from trouble!

      Shot a 37 today! Palmer Course, PGA National. Really fun. 6/9 GIR, no lost balls. The double and the bogey were both three putts from like 35 feet or so.  The birdie at the last was really fun. I stood over that fifteen footer and thought wow I’m really about to make this, aren’t I? And I hearted it. Really fun. It’s like 9000 degrees outside but I battled through it well. Good times.

      I had been in a bit of a slump for the month of June. Handicap index has slowly risen, and there were few sub-80 scores. Today was a different story at Leslie Park GC. Lots of solid shots, GIR's, up & downs, for a 77 (7.8 differential). As with most rounds, there were a few loose shots and crappy putts, but it was a good day.
