I currently use the 2007 TaylorMade Burner 10.5 stiff flex. However, I do not own this driver, I am borrowing it from a friend. I saw the Tour Burner for $150 and wasn't sure whether or not to purchase it, being that I would like to get a new driver. I hit it at Dick's Sporting Goods today and had good launch numbers. Any thoughts on the driver, and is it a good deal?

Pretty good deal. For ME the club was terrible. Could only hit 1 out of 4 decently. Hopefully it will work for you good luck.

I would have gotten it. Its a pretty decent deal to me. I also could not hit the club very well, but if you are able to, all the to power to you.

I won't sugar coat this - I hate Taylor Made. I don't really know why but I have never liked them. If I were going to buy a new driver for around $150 to $200, I would buy the Cobra L4V X or find a Cobra S9-1 F on ebay. Just me though.

I've got one and I'm really happy with it. I upgraded from an R5 Dual N about 8 months ago and find this much nicer / easier to hit consistently. It all comes down to taste really, have a hit and if if suits you, get it. At that price I think it's an awesome deal. 8 months and it's less than half the original price, crikey. They don't hold much value do they. I might wait next time.

I had a Cobra, good ball flight, good distance, but got rid of it cause it sounded terrible. I sold the Cobra so I could pay for the surgery for my ear damage that it caused.
