Oh no, I'm not too proud... besides, it's a lot easier to blame the equipment when it's crappier than I am. And that's really hard to achieve!

ive been given those logo'd ball gift sets (like a see-thru plastic sleeve of Illini-themed golf balls)...wouldn't be so bad if they were a decent ball (especially considering im usually a bogey golfer), but they're some no-name brand, not even rock flites, that hit like the broad side of a cinder block when hit

i usually just tee them up into fields at home...useless as a display piece, and useless as a play piece

That's a hose. My Caltech logo golf balls were at least Top-Flites. I liked carrying them around for good luck (what better symbol of luck could there be than your wife giving you a gift that encourages golfing??) and using them for putting practice.

I have it won...Golf ball warmer. No kidding. Supposed to make the ball go farther. Horrible gift.
