Dear users of the sand trap.com

I'm a student at The Technical University Of Denmark studying mechanical engineering. I am currently working on a project on golf dispensers and I aim for the most efficient golf dispenser that the users (you) could dream of. Therefore I would be very honoured and glad if you could explain your experiences with golf dispensers and come with suggestions on how to improve the present dispensers on the market.

Furthermore I would like to know which kind of demands you have to golf dispensers. Do you want them to be semi automatic, so you would have to press a botton with your feed or fully automatic so a new golf ball would appear after a certain amount of time after your shoot the ball. It would be interesting to know if you would be okay with a raising golf club fee if you preffered an automatic (a unit placed beneath you lifting new golf balls upwards after your shot) or the no raise in the club fee with the cheaper semiautomatic versoin (a bucket like unit).

To sum it all up I would just like you to give supply me with any information you have on golf dispensers and any thoughts! Even if it is a simple thing as the wish of color

Thank you very much.

Kindest regards

Tobias M. Norbo

Perhaps it would be nice to start off with what exactly a golf dispenser is and how / when it's used.

Sounds like this?

And to add a wish to your contraption, I wan't it to use standard wooden tees, I hate the rubber hose type of tees. And it would be even better if it was possible to use it on grass aswell.

pretty useless in my opinion. I just don't see the use for it. As for wooden tees, it would have to plant a tee for you, as wood tees often fly out of the ground or break, etc.

Well there is a market for people with back pains. But I agree with you for the rest of us.

Well he wanted ideas, and I hate practice from mats and be "forced" to use rubber tees.

Please let me know when you have developed a golf skill dispenser, I will feed coins in that thing all day long!

I appreciate your idea, and they are really big in the Asian Market, S. Korea and Japan, but not as big in North America.

As for me, I will go out of my way, even wait, for a regular stall (without dispenser) when I go to the driving range.

Cheers, Allan

They are useless for me, since I don't want to use a tee for most practice shots. One were you can chose to not have a tee would be a start. I think they are pointless really

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
