To Tithe or Not to Tithe?

I have a pretty sizable deal closing soon... should I tithe 10% of my soon to be earnings to the golf god's?

I dont really need anything besides a new bag... maybe. But, there is alot of things that I would like to have.

So... given the state of the economy... do I pack it all away in the bank... or do I take a couple grand and go on a shopping spree?

Absolutely tithe!

When my wife or I receive a bonus, whomever earned it always gets to play with a little bit. The rest is invested responsibly. We get to feel good about being fiscally responsible, but at the same time we get a new toy or some other fun in recognition of the hard work and success that resulted in the bonus itself.

My core business is golf sales... but I do real estate on the side for a select few high dollar clients. This is one of those deals.

I have been eying some Callaway X Proto's for quite a while now... so they may get the call.
