In my opinion, I think it would be more important to figure out which one you can more easily hit off the deck. If need be, you could always tee the ball down real low to get the same 'off the deck' feel. Thats basically what I do - never liked teeing the ball up with a 3w any more than a 1/4 inch or so

i had that same club and ended up changing to the MP-001, little bigger clubface, but both were great clubs

I recently picked up the new Titleist 909 F2 and really hit it better that the Hi-bore it replaced. I bought the 909 D3 driver and thought I'd give the 3 wood a try. The driver is nice, but the 3 wood is definatly a keeper. I have generally just pulled out a 2 or 3 hybrid in the past because I never had alot of confidence in the 3 wood. With the Titleist in the bag the last few rounds, its definatly been an improvement.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Ping G10. I haven't purchased mine yet, but it is at the top of my list. Played with a demo for a couple of weeks and absolutely loved it.

However, for me I wonder if the results came more from the shaft than the club. I was using the UST Pro Force High Launch option on the G10. Sometimes it's difficult for me to get the ball in the air with the 3wood and this shaft makes all the difference.
