He took my driver to the driving range without my permission and brought it back worse for wear. Is this thing toast now or is it just a cosmetic blemish? When I hit it, it just feels dead and doesn't have that same feel/sound.

It could be all psychosomatic because I haven't hit a ball in weeks.

Oh man i thought that was the profile on the driver.... That could very well affect ball flight, but it also might not. I have an old tommy armour driver that is riddled with dents. It hits the ball perfect, i used it before i had my current driver and i probably hit that better until a few weeks ago

It should just be cosmetic. I had an Adams RPM that was dented like that and it lasted a year in that condition. It still is useable, I've just moved on to better things. You should be fine.

I don't know if it will impact performance, but If i were you, I would demand he gets you a new club. I would be beyond furious if my bro did that.

He once borrowed my bike helmet after I told him not to, and broke it during a crash. Only reason I was not pissed is because it saved his head.
