Steve Flesch?

I've only recently started to follow the tour, with my interest it in growing along with my passion for the game...so, what is Steve Flesch's deal? He obviously looked impressive at Augusta (I guess dropping an eagle from 140 out will do that), and seems to have a nice short game- but when I googled him I see he's been on tour since '97 and only has two career wins.

Was that just a case of a guy's game coming together at the right time and in front of The Master's audience- or is his game really as good as it looked, and maybe he's a guy like an Adam Scott who just never really reached his potential?

That was the first time I've ever heard his name- and it's sort of hard to forget.

Flesch has won four times on Tour, including two times in 2007. It's also worth noting that he was a Rookie of the Year, when the two previous were Stewart Cink and Tiger Woods. So he's up there in good company.

I'm a bit surprised that Augusta fits his game, given that he's left handed, and the disadvantage that a course that is long and sets up for a (right-handed) draw causes. But he's finished in the top ten each of the last two years there, so something's going right.

He reminds me of a space eating d lineman. He is always on the roster but usually gets lost in the game.

He seems to be a pretty good player.

I read an article about him a couple months ago, and he hates slow players. Exactly like me. 6 hours for 18 today. Me with 3 other guys.
