I am getting a new DVD camcorder and want to video my swing. Is there a proper way to videotape a swing? Camera height, distance from golfer, angles etc...Thanks

Erik included some instructions in his first "Swing Check" post here .

In terms of how far away, I think you'll want to fill the frame with your swing while not cutting yourself or your clubs out of the frame at any point during the swing.

I'd say line up the camera the best you can. If it's too far left, your swing will appear across the line when you might be perfectly on plane. The better your camera is lined up down your target line, the more accurate it's going to be.
