Personally, 5. (hole #4 at Quicksilver)

The first time I saw Arnold Palmer "live" I saw him 5 putt the 7th hole at Quicksilver.

Some of the grees are large and all of them are undulating. If you're on the wrong side of the hole, watch out!

I had a 4-putt today at the Championship Course at Deer Run - hit an iron to the wrong side of the green on 11. Still kept it in the 70s and brought home $40 :)

Outside of Orlando there is a course called North Shore. The first hole is 312yd par 4 which is drivable if down wind. There is a huge mound that runs the whole width of the green and they had the pin on the upper half.Well I kill my drive and bounce it up on the gree on the lower half and proceed to 5 putt for a 6.My Mrs was in stiches for the next 3 or 4 holes.

7 Some grounds keeper thought it would be funny to putt the hole right in the middle of a slope... so if your short it comes back down if you putt it 2 hard it will slide down and run off

1996 in a club tournament at Spanish Trail (Las Vegas). The second hole is a dogleg right par 5. Water all down the right side and front of green. I hit Driver, 5 Wood to within 12 feet. Putting for eagle. Instead, adrenalin took over and I 6 putt for an 8.

four putted once in a match in HS. I don't really remember it which is a good thing but my teamates sure do.

I was out playing a few weeks ago and net 6 strokes from my first putt. My poor club choice combined with hitting it slightly thin airmailed the pin to the back of a really long green. It was a long, very slow at first, then very quick, up a hill, down a hill putt from about 100 feet that, if hit too hard would roll off the green and under a bunch of bushes on the right side leaving an unplayable shot. I got a little chicken and rolled it to the top of the hill leaving about 30 feet downhill right to left. My buddy's ball was in the way at the bottom of the hill about 10 feet from the cup. I thought for sure I wouldn't hit it, so I told him not to mark it. Sure enough I hit it, leaving my ball where his was, and racking up a penalty stroke. I rolled the next putt about 2 feet past the hole on the low side, leaving an uphill 2 footer, which I promptly lipped out. Then I went on to shoot even over the next 5 holes for a net score of 40.

    • I  had to return to boast  just a  bit. Everyone  knows  i thought  this  is  how the Championship should  be decided. Match play is far  better than stroke  play to determine a  champion and  its  much closer to most sports  playoffs. Lose and you are  out.     Promotion, relegation and match play: PGA Tour unveils radical new structure The PGA Tour has revealed its planned changes to its competitive model, schedule and playoffs, changes that will be more substantial than any in the Tour's half-century-long history. How will the PGA Tour series wrap up its season? The current PGA Tour playoff format consists of three stroke-play events, concluding with the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. Starting in 2028, the Tour's playoff system will feature match play, and will rotate through various courses. Further details will be revealed at this year's Tour Championship next month.
    • Posted a couple swings here. I think my attempt to blend the movement still results in a more “around” back swing?
    • I never heard dislike for them.  From my perspective, they are just like any other club. Though, they were always probably over-priced, until recently as other club manufacturers have been raising prices the past 5+ years. You had to wait for them to go on sale, which you can get them closer to other club manufacturers.  They sell good clubs. Nothing crazy..
    • Why do so many people dislike PXG clubs and constantly criticize them? All the folks at my club and especially online, I never hear good things about them except from people who bought them and defend them. They look fine to me but curious is there some sort of quality issue or is it just stereotyping the buyers.
    • I have the LM1 launch monitor and I’ve been very impressed. I agree with your assessment and it’s very accurate for me and ease of use is wonderful. The price point of $199 is very hard to beat with this form factor and performance. I was previously using a PRGR.
