You always hear about how some companies don't care about their clients once they wrap up a sale, but I have to give Izzo an thumbs up on their customer care and service. Little over an year ago I purchased two of their practice nets; a Giant and a Big Daddy. I had already had a mini-mouth for a couple of years no. Anyway, Last Friday I went to set up the Big Daddy and some issues with a few of the connectors not wanting to slip in and out of place correctly. Unfortunately I put two much pressure on one of the rails and broke two of the connectors. First thing I thought was how was I going to replace that one pole and not have to buy a whole new frame. So I got on the phone with Brad Beswick of Izzo and told him what I had done and explained the circumstance. He said to email him a picture and he said he would see what we could work out. So I sent him a picture of the breakage and he said he would be back in touch. A few minutes later he wrote me back and said a brand new complete net was being sent via next-day at no cost!! I explained to him I would like to pay for the new net but he said he would not hear of it. So low and behold, a new (and the newer model)arrived Wednesday just as promised.

I am in no way affiliated with Izzo but will always be a loyal customer of theirs because they showed customers do come first to them.

Thanks to Brad Beswick and the whole Izzo team.

PS...and thanks to The Sand Trap for letting me use they're forum to express my appreciation.

Cheers to Izzo for great customer service!

I had the same experience with my Sun mountain bag when I broke a leg on my carry bag and they send me a brand new leg free of charge.

I also had a Callaway two ball putter when the white material came off and they send me a brand new putter free of charge in a couple of days.

Cheers to Izzo , Sun Mountain and Callaway for great customer service!

Companies seem to care more today. Cell phone companies used to be notorious for their sub-par support. I know I have left carriers twice in the last 20 years. I was with Bell Atlantic Mobile in the late 80's/early 90's until Verizon bought them out. They, Verizon at the time thought support was an option. Because of that I went to NEXTEL; with there local service/push to talk/and great service they give us people being in the construction industry...they were the best thing to come along since sliced bread. And then came along that God-Forsaken, push and pray, Indian based crappy service they call Sprint. It didn't take but a few months to accumulate a drawer full of junk Sprint phones. Then came the masses going back to either Verizon and Cingular which we all know now as ATT. Although ATT has great CS I have heard that Verizon has the best.

Sorry to get off subject, but IMO customer service is one of the number one things I look for in a business. I have also heard that Callaway provides excellent service. And IMO, Directv ans HP does as well.

Not all golf companies are stand up.OGIO refused to fix or replace my Grom stand bag which had blown out a zipper on a pocket. They had the nerve to offer me another bag for 1/2 price,I told the woman if you do not stand behind this bag why the hell do I want another?Callaway on the other hand is a great stand up company and does stand behind all products.

And in the other thread, flap, several people all seemed to have the opposite experience with Ogio, myself included, and their wonderful customer support.

    • Played 9 yesterday at Cape Ann in Essex, MA. Played awful with maybe 4 really good shots but the course is so beautiful being right on the water it's hard to be to upset. I haven't practiced in forever so I'll need to get going on that.  Been better getting to the gym since I've been out here in NH. I came out from Minnesota for my well being so I figured I should be working on just that. Still hovering around 226 which surprises me as my sister in law feeds me quite well. Excited to be back east for the Celtics coronation. Go Celts!!!
