(I don't think this quite fits into the other threads on the topic of the drink...)

I went for a drink at the lab fridge the other day, and noticed I had left Ralph's brand sweet tea and Newman's lemonade in there. I mixed the two and it wasn't quite a normal Palmer, but it tasted pretty good just the same. A labmate of mine makes them with green tea sometimes, although I haven't tried that.

What's your favorite tea and lemonade combination when making an Arnold Palmer? Is there anything I should try? Anything I should avoid?

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I personally like the Arizona one the best. My mom made some with some normal lemonade and ice tea but I do not like the ice tea taste too much so I added alot more lemonade.

The Arizona Arnold Palmer is very good. I like Nantucket Nectar Half & Half (the real name of half iced tea, half lemonade) the best. I've never tried to make my own half and half, so no help there. Try the Nantucket Nectar; you won't be disappointed. (I'm pretty much a fan of every N.N. flavor, so IMO you should try a bunch of their combos.)

If you guys are 21 you should try a john daly. Its half lemonade, half sweet tea vodka. It tastes very good.

a john daly!!!! hahaha. I would think jack daniel's lynchburg lemonade (if its still available) and ice tea would be a nice fit to for the over 21 crowd.

But my favorite Arnold Palmer is from a Arnold Palmer owned course in St. Louis, MO. Its the perfect drink for a hot day.
