I spent this weekend trying to find the best carry bag available. I love the stand feature on the Ping bags as it is the most stable I have seen, but the lack of dividers for club management made it a no-go for me. The Taylor Made bags frankly felt cheap to me. I just didn't care for them even though a couple were on sale at the Golf Galaxy I stopped at. In the end it really came down to Ogio Grom or Edge and the Nike Sasquatch.

Frankly, I really didn't want to like the Nike. I've never been a Nike fan, but when it came down to it I loved the bag. The Ogio was nice but it never felt quite as stable as the Sasquatch. I also really liked the 14 slot system on the Nike bag, I'm a stickler for organization and I love the idea of each club having it's own place in the bag. Also the material quality was nice and surprisingly, according to the tag, the bag is assembled in the USA which I appreciate.

So, after wanting a Taylor Made or Ogio at the start, and after getting strong recommendations for Ping from my brother, I went with the Nike Sasquatch and I really like it so far. Not the brand I was looking for but it's the bag that actually fulfills all my wants/needs.

I'm right there with you!! I don't own anything Nike, so I am trying to stay away from them, but it is a very sweet bag. I want to stay away from it, but it becons me back, thankfully the price makes me think it twice, likewise with the grom. The one thing that I can't understand on the nike is that pocket on the right....the one tha you can take the cover off....why??? why would I want to remove the cover of the pocket? Other than that, i like all the pockets, specially the small ones on the side.

AS for the Ping, you made a good decision. I have the Hoofer Vantage, and it dirves me insane! Club management is non-existant! AS for the stability, also non-existant! This bag will not stan on it's own, without the use of the legs. Also, if you have the bag on a slippery surface, say wood floors, even with the legs out, the bag can slip and fall (and yes...it "Can't get up!"). I do like the pockets and the organization, but ready to mve on!
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

Yeah, I can't figure out why you would want to take that pocket off either...weird one that. I use it for balls because it has the mesh velcro sides which are handy, but can't imagine why one would take it all the way off.

I tried to resist but it just called too hard to me.

The pocket cover comes off so you can easily get it custom embroidered yourself or for promotional giveaways at tournaments, embroidered with company name, whatever. I might do that with my company logo, then I can write it off as a business expense.

I've been looking at bags for the last month or so... I think this is my bag (the Nike Tour Sasquatch, in either Blue/Silver/Pewter or Midnight Fog/Silber/Red). The 2010 model only has 'Sasquatch' on the Black/Yellow one and one other color. Bonus for me, since I don't play Nike clubs, but still consider them a brand neutral in the bag department (as I wear Nike shoes and have some Nike clothing). FYI, there is also an identical bag available in 2 other colors, called the 'Nike Tour ProCombo', it has 'procombo' on the side where the older ones have 'Sasquatch'. The 'Tour' part is important or you might get the 'day' bag instead. Hard to find, but a couple of different color options. Golfdiscount.com has them both on their site.

In my :nike:  bag on my :clicgear: cart ...
