I have a bad putter currently and i need to get a new one. I am looking at a odyssey sabertooth currently, is there any other suggestions you guys have? I am looking for a well balanced putter the flows smoothly when you swing it.

Whats in the bag?

My guess is a hevier putter is what you're looking for. As for something that "flows smoothly" that's all personal prferance

Try the Ping Craz-e. I prefer it to the Odyssey you are looking at but Odyssey's are really nice also.

this is a good suggestion. I do not like insert putters but like mallets so the Craz-e fits the bill.

You really should just go to any store with a putting green and try a ton of putters. I once spent 45+ minutes in Dicks trying every putter they had.

I agree, whenever I go to my local Golfsmith they have a large putting green surrounded with hundreds of putters. Try as many out as you can, when you find the right one, you will know it.

I have the odyssey sabertooth myself and I would like to give you my honest opinion of the club. First, I love it for it's ability to roll the ball terrifically off the whitehot face, however, there's one drawback. On any putts from <15 ft it's money. Once you get farther away, there's less and less 'touch' and it seems as though even with a ton of lag putting practice it's very hard to get it dialed in. I have a sc newport 2 that is alot better for longer putts but is a bit worse than the sabertooth inside 15. if you hit it relatively close, the tooth might be a better choice for you but if you hit it consistently far from the pin outside 15-20 feet i'd suggest a non-insert.

I have the same problem with having good touch for longer putts.

I really like my Mizuno. It is a solid milled like the Scotty. It has a great feel. If I had the money to really make a change (I do not want to but if I did) I would get a putter fitting at one of the golf stores. The brand new scotties are mean looking and a larger mallet.

I find i putt my best with a putter which is low in weight. The Scotty Cameron i have is way too heavy and i just switched back to an old PING putter i bought about 15 years ago.

I am big headed and i love it. Try it yourself and see how much your game improves.

I have and oddecy sabertooth and I absoluty love it. it is the best feeling putter out there I think especialy for the money.

in all honesty there are only 3 things you need to think about when you are buying a putter.

1. Feel
2. line up (the mallet heads like the sabertooth are beter than the blades)
3. condience

after that its all the same to me. just go to a golf store pick up a few putters swing them an put them to see what feels the best.

I have the Sabertooth and love it! It lines me up SO much better than my old putter. When you are looking down at the putt your eyes just follow the fangs right into the hole. Feels great too!

The Sabretooth is nice if you are looking for a mallet putter. Ive tried them out a couple times and I honestly couldnt mishit a putt with them. They have so much perimiter weighting that even if you hit the ball on the heel or the toe of the club, the ball still goes where you aim it with pretty much the same distance.
Im personally not a fan of mallet putters, to me they just have no feel. Im more of a blade man. I used to have a Ping J-Blade that I really liked but for some stupid reason decided to sell and I recently bought a Ping Anser and I really like it.
All you can really do is go to a golf shop and just try out all kinds of different putters to see what you like. Putting is so much about feel and personal preference that there really is no right or wrong answer to the question, "Whats the best putter?"

Look into an Odyssey White Hot 2 Ball. the original 2 ball no putter has met the standards set by this putter.
