mizuno comp ez vs. today

I currently play a 10 year old mizuno iron called comp ez. I was wondering what this would be equivalent to today. Is it "game-improvement" or is it a "players c.b."?

I would say it is a CB or a half cavity club.

I have a set of Mizuno Comp Ez with S300 and they are oversized forged iron that are cavity back and not like the MP 52 or 62 models.

My son used a combination of Comp ez with mp33 irons.

mp 33 pw - 9 iron
comp ez 8-5 iron

A players club would be the mp52 or mp 62 or mp33s.

I notice a difference just by chipping with the mp33 vs the comp ez, I can not feel the club with the comp ez but with the mp33s I can tell if I hit the chip a groove too low.
