Has the Nicklaus Golf company really slid in quality?
Online I saw Dick's was selling a Nicklaus Q4 driver...
that looks suspiciously like component Q4 sold by others.
PineMeadows, for example.
I thought the Nicklaus AirMax from 4 years ago was a quality sleeper.
Is the new Q4 a sleeper too or just a mass market r7 knockoff???
Anyone hit one????
I read somewhere (online) Nicklaus was the builder of Dick's Hagen Line.
Any truth to that???
Hagens use Alidila NV shafts. What do the Q4's use ???

That all said ..... that doesn't guarantee that each and everyone will have the correct shaft as listed above ..

Shafts are bought and sold in vast "bulk", so the manufacturers put in what is available at that time .... that means were there should be a Fuji, there might be a Aldila, or a Graphite Design or perhaps a Grafalloy, Harrison, etc, etc .... always check, it's more common than you would think.

Also keep in mind that certain shafts play different than others ..... Fuji's have a tendency to play stiffer than the rest --- a Reg play's like a stiff, a stiff play's like an Extra stiff, etc etc ....

PS: it never hurts to have the spine aligned.

Whats in the bag.?

Driver: Tour Edge 10* Jmax 460 Carbon with the Fuji Vista Pro 50 shaft/and, the Burrows 10.5* MAC 421cc with the Grafalloy Pro Launch 55 shaft.
Woods: only one left after switching to hybrids - Adams ST #7 22*.
Hybrids: Tour Edge 20*, 24*, 30*, 36*, 41* and the 50* Attack Wedge...
