This summer I'll have money I get from the family as birthday gifts... i'll look into maybe upgrading then. Or putting it towards a few lessons. I think my major stumbling block right now is the lack of practice. I have a neighbor who has golfed for 25+ years, used to be a member of the Oregon Golfer's Assoc. He went over my swing, corrected some stuff, etc. I strike the ball at the range much better now. But the range isn't the course, is it? I think I psych myself out when I play. Oh well, i need to practice more, that's a given.

Ok, as requested... here are my cheapy clubs...

A 5 Iron. They're all in really good condition, if not dirty from not being cleaned...ever

This says TiForm Medium Flex

This is the extra driver that came with the set. It's a bubble shaft. Shaft says Power Wave, stability transfer system.

Well, there they are.

I wouldn't suggest a forged iron for a beginner, I would go with a nice forgiving cavity back... Look on preowned callaway, they are a little expensive but you are getting quality... keep on ebay hunting... they look like nice clubs but just not necessarily good for new golfers...
