I finally took the plunge and dedicated some cash towards lessons. Had my first one half a week ago and it went great, he reworked my grip and swing plane a bit. Now, I'm getting the benefits of the more correct grip as I've been able to hold the club firmer for extra control. However, I have developed blistering on the middle finger tip of my left hand. Would anyone know of any little grip flaws that would lead to irritation in that spot specifically?

If you were using a grip before that did not properly utilize the left middle finger, you wouldn't have the same resistance as you would otherwise.

If it's really bothersome, wrap athletic tape around the tip of the finger to prevent the blistering.
