so went out today and again I could not hit anything. I have been playing for about a year now and I am actually getting frustrated. Last month at this time I was hitting just under 100 and now it feels like I am starting all over. I am competly lossed again on how to swing. I am finally going for lessons, but I was wondering how you guys ger through these rutts.

I work on my shortgame when I'm not hitting well. 50 yds and in. Short pitches, 1/4 swings etc just to get to hitting the ball solid and getting back in a rythm. Normally take a few days off from full swings and then come back to it later

Don't worry, before you get better sometimes you have to go backwards, it quite normal. Keep on playing and things only get better.

I agree that you should practice your short game.

putting,
chipping around the green
pitch shots
watch videos
keep practicing
have fun and enjoy the game

yea i agree with the short game theory and this has happened to me a couple of times but i just had a few days off and i got back to my A game.

If I hit it right, it's a slice. If I hit it left, it's a hook. If I hit it straight, it's a miracle.
