Having only been playing golf for 1yr and 2 days, I have now got myself down to a 18 handicap, and the only clubs I get 'on with' are the 695MB's (odd I know). I can hit them really great, but struggle with the 3 & 4 & 5 iron....

...SO... I went and bought the 695CB's.

Question: What would be the perfect combo from each to balance the set (3-6 in CB, and 7-PW in MB?).

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

I think every individual has their breaking point. I'd probably start with musclebacks at the 5-iron. Others wouldn't start until the 8-iron (like Titleist's 735.CM set).

The answer, unfortunately, is "it's up to you." If you already own both sets... mix and match.

Thanks Erik - Thats why I didnt go ahead and buy the 735's, as it seemed odd to me starting at the 8. The 695mb's are cracking clubs though, accurate, but agreed will kill you if you are having one of those 'fat-all' days.

I have both sets with DG SL lite shafts, so I guess I'll work it out through good old effort. Hate the standard titleist stock grips though.
