So earlier this week I started a thread about my first ever sub 100 round shooting a 99, but having 42 putts. It was glaringly obvious the easiest way to bring my score down even more as some of you mentioned to me. I played in a scramble Wed. and then practiced putting yesterday and before my round today. I figured out that I had been trying to push the ball to the hole instead of striking it, which is why i left 90% of my putts short. By the way this is my first year to play golf, and today I shot a 92!! With 34 putts! I am so excited about the break through I have had in my putting. It has been a great golf week for me to break 100 with a 99, and then a couple of days later beat that score with a 92!

Congrats!! It is always fun to figure out something that will shave some strokes off your score with little change. I am sure there will be many more things you will figure out that will keep you coming back...No matter how bad a round you have, there is always that one shot that keeps you coming back.

I shot a 98 the other day besting my best score by 10 strokes. I couldn't even be happy about it cause I thought I played like crap, lol.
