Anyone hit both? I've seen a review giving preference to the tour over the 09.

At Golfsmith on the launch moniter I myself got better flight from the 09 Burner. I currently play an 07 Burner but I may be in the process of upgrading a bit, I am leaning toward the 09 every time I hit it. Now today at one of the local clubs they had Taylormade demo days and I even prefer the 09 over the new r9, but the r9 does feel good. I tried all with a stiff shaft 9.5 to 10.5, which 10.5 flies better for my swing but I give up some distance to the 9.5. JMHO

Yeah, I've got the '09 and I like it a lot. The driver is just one of these things that it seems hard to find one and say this is the one. I'm wondering if I should have gone with the R9. Oh well, I better get use to the '09, it's a nice driver.

We had a demo day here in Southern OH - nice way for a lefty to see what is really happening. Balls being used where decent range balls also. The 09 burner for me was quite a bit better than the R9. Both 9.5* stiff. R9 with a standard setup. Tried moving weights and angles around, and still came back that the 09 burner was an around better fit for me. Good Luck

Actually, just hit both clubs on a launch monitor this past week. I liked the way Tour Burner looked, but I hit the 09 Burner much better. I went with the 09 Burner despite it's ugly graphics on the crown of the club. The current Taylormade deal giving away a free fairway wood with an 09 Burner purchase didn't hurt either..... :)
