I have tried several game improvement clubs including the callaway big bertha and all the x series. They didint feel good but once i tried some clubs that have feel and workability they felt a ton better. My favorites were the mx 200 and cg reds but the r7 and ping g5 felt great as well. Which of these clubs has the best feel but also forgivness? Any other recommendations are apreciated.
thanks

I've hit the R7 and I bought the G5. Both are great but I really like the feel of the Ping clubs and they offer a lot of forgiveness. So far I'm very happy with them.

All of the above clubs will do the job, its just which one you feel the best with. With that said and with all do respect; a bad swing is a bad swing and no club will make up for that. Forgivness is what most ppl look for when they don't have a good swing. So taking some lessons and getting the basics down will probably save you money in the long run. (I will take at least one lesson a year b/c its very easy to develop bad habits).

If I have read too much into your post, I sincerely apologize.

Personally, I believe the best combination of 'feel' and 'forgiveness' is the Mizuno MX-200. Forged clubs almost always feel better than cast clubs and the Mizunos are the only one of these that is forged. I was very impressed with these clubs when I was looking for new irons over the winter and had decided on either the MX-200 or the MP-52 (of course, I went with the MP-60s when I found a great deal on them). The CG Reds might be the least forgiving of the sets listed, but I have always liked Cleveland irons pretty well. They are more of a 'player' iron than the others you mention, but do still have some forgiveness to them. The R7's are also a good club. As for the Ping's, I have never been a fan at all. I do not like the feel of Ping irons, but that might be just me because lots of people do.

Id go with the Mizuno MX-200s. They have great feel but are still very forgiving clubs.
