Irons with thin "top lines"

I am not sure if mine qualify as super thin, but they definitely look small and compact compared with a GI iron.

The newer models have some more forgiveness.

Miura have the thinnest looking toplines ive seen in an iron. But very expensive. I also prefer the thin topline because i just feel they frame the ball better and you get a better sense of where the club is aimed. But playing titliest clubs for so long ive grown acustomed to the thickness of their iron toplines, which can be called a little beefy. Its not really a huge issue for me, but its nice to have a thinner topline on an iron.

Wow... the Miuras look fantastic... but a bit hard to come by for someone who lives in Iowa :(

if you like the VR forged, have you looked into the nike CCI forged? they are on ebay new for under $300. Thin top line, very workable, pros use them.

I know taylormade rounds the top of the irons to get away with it and Ping does somewhat the same. That way, any bit of sun glare on a rounded top turns into a thinner line kinda fooling your eye.
