I made the front page of the newspaper...for golf!

Yesterday, while I was on the putting green, this lady randomly walks up with a huge camera. I'm just chipping, messing around, working on my game. She then comes up to me. "Mind if I take your picture," she asks. I say, "For what?"...

"The Express Times [a local newspaper, but fairly large one for the region]," she says.

So I agree on to it. She asks me what my name is, where I live. Meanwhile, I have no idea why she's doing it, what it's really for, etc.

The next day, I pick up the paper, and I'm in it. Bottom right corner of the FRONT PAGE. It's me chipping.

It's a pretty good pic of me, good form too.

Haha, yeah. Not the greatest quality picture but I figured I'd share. Pretty odd experience.

It is a good pic. Pretty cool to be in the paper.

I was in the paper a few times for academic things. I made the front page once for getting a perfect score on my ACT while in high school. Some newspaper reporter interviewed me and a photographer took a bunch of pictures. I don't really smile, so all the pictures were of me with a pretty blank expression. Then she said something that made me laugh, and they used the pic of me guffawing like a buffoon in the paper.

It was neat but I wasn't very impressed ;)

That's the thing - there is no article. It's just a random picture of me with the caption on the front page of the paper. It was such an odd moment lol.

Although personally, I never tuck my shirt if I'm wearing shorts. I'm a fashion slob that way.
