This was at the 15th hole at the Palm Beach Gardens Municipal course last night. Par 3, approx. 165yds to the pin. The wind was a little right to left with the pin in the back center of the green. I decided to setup right center on the green and hopefully let the wind fade (I'm lefty) the ball back to the pin. I stepped on an 8 iron and stuck it within 2ft from the pin. The ball mark from where it landed is just above the ball. One of those shots that just work out as planned. The biggest thing I have learned in the last 2 years outside of the mechanics is to always plan and visualize the shot. For anyone who is looking to improve, always visualize your shots. You will be surprised how this improves your game.

Nice! Now fix that mark and sink the putt already It's that kind of shot (or the hope of getting one) that keeps us all coming back, nice work.

Caught my 9 iron flush and the ball sailed passed the green into the rough. Chipped in the next shot for a birdie about 50 feet.

Mine have all pretty much come with my 4 hybrid. Best has to be this past sunday, 190 yards away with a headwind (that had been forcing me to play to clubs more on most shots) to an island green. I usually hit this club 195-200, but I visualized (important as mentioned above) myself puring the ball with a smooth controlled swing in order to make crisp contact. Funny, I did just that and hit it to about six feet...

....then comes the two putt for par.....lol, oh well, still enjoyed thoroughly that approach!

[Edit]: On that same day, on a par 5 from 220 yards away (tailwind) it gave me my second eagle opportunity ever, it was about a 16 foot putt that ended up about half a foot from the hole.....oh well, I enjoyed having an eagle try!
