Finally made that order!!

I have finally made the order for my new complete golf set. Here is what I ordered:

-Mizuno MP Fli Hi 18* hybrid iron (replaces 2 iron)
-Mizuno MX950 3h, 4h, 5-PW Stiff Steel S300
-Adams Golf Tom Watson PVD 56* black SW
-Ping G5i Ally putter with 35 inches shaft (doesn't ship with headcover, sucks )
-2 Pairs of Callaway Warbird gloves left hand small size

All brand new sealed.
Can't wait to put my hands on them!!!

I tend to hook a lot with my irons (but some occasional slices from time to time), mostly due to swing speed but also due to a fault I know I sometimes do. While with the driver, my current driver has a stiff shaft, and I can rarely hit it straight, always slicing. It's also about an inch longer than standard, and I am a bit short, so that could be the issue. Unfortunately I do not have the privilege of trying the clubs before I buy them or having a custom fitting, so I have to rely on observation and theories.

Don't sweat the putter headcover, though. You can get 'em all day long on ebay or you can pick amoung your favorite NCAA/NFL/NBA team head covers.

Tell me about it. Sometimes I wish I didn't get a tracking number, so I had no chance to track it. Then I recall times when the package got stuck somewhere and I had to resolve it. But the waiting and updating the tracking all day long can be painful.

Congrats on your order, hope you like the clubs. You are doing yourself a big favor by getting hybrids for the longer irons. On a high handicap, long irons can be a nightmare. I used hybrids only below 6i until I dropped below 20 hcp. Then I started working with longer irons and now feel more confident with them. Still keep a hybrid in my bag, it can be a real life saver.

It's worse than that. They do not ship to Egypt, but fortunately my brother is in the US right now. The clubs will be shipped to him, and he will bring them back with him. But that won't be anytime before mid September!!

I think he can, but it won't be necessary. It'll cost a lot, and the Egyptian taxes will beat the living hell out of me (golf=rich=tax him) that I will end up paying the whole bag's worth in taxes in customs.

I can wait. I have exams the coming two months anyway, I won't be playing a lot.

You're right, but the items were quickly being sold, I was afraid I won't be able to find these items at these prices. (Rockbottomgolf.com and gppgolf.com)

Guys, does anybody know when do they ship items from rockbottomgolf and gpp golf??
I made the order on Sunday, so I know they won't be shipped till Monday. It's Monday now (around 10:00 am EST I think) and both sites say they still have not shipped (Approved but still not shipped on gppgolf.com, and pending review on rockbottomgolf.com).

My bank confirmed that both withdrawals have taken place. Do they have a certain business hour after which they start shipping or what?

Sorry if I am sounding a bit over-concerned. It's the first time ever I buy something online and I AM a little bit over concerned.

I would be extremely surprised if they didn't ship today, don't sweat it. Often the shipping info is delayed, sometimes up to a day.

Something is definitely wrong. The gppgolf order has gone "on hold" and rockbottomgolf order is still "pending review" till now..... :S

I actually had to cancel an order I had placed with gppgolf.com. I had placed an order and it was on hold for nearly two weeks. They basically told me it was backordered.

Today I canceled it and managed to snag a new set of TM R7s on Ebay.
