I have not had problems with the legs on my ozone so far. Ogio typically makes quality bags.

I have 3 OGIO stand bags, 1 is an OZONE 4-5 yrs old and no problems here. Is the clip that holds the legs together secured properly? You shouldn't have any problem with a return, but I'd call them and not wait on an email reply.

Mine does the exact same thing. I love the bag but the legs chattering all day annoys me.

Slide the black plastic clip on the leg assembly on the bag (not the legs themselves) up a bit higher, that should secure them better. FYI, expect some resistance.

I had the same problem I took a hammer and adjusted the tension thing as tight as I could and no help. I took that P.O.S back, bought the mizuno bag and its way better than both the Ogio's I bought and returned this year...

well took it back to Golf Town, no receipt or anything
exchanged it for another Ozone, no questions asked
they didnt even check to see if it was broker, just yep here's you $220 Credit! hahah!

check this out
i bought it breand new there, marked as last years bag for $140 (retail $189)
then they returned it for the Grom, instead of the Ozone (retail $210) hahahaha!!!!

so after an hour and half of looking at all the bags, I went w the same one, hoping this one would be better...just a different color

i went w the "electric" color (gunmetal grey and turqiose) yes i know..kinda gay
but it sure pops in real life, so i said hey what the hell

Ogio even said i could exchange it ANYWHERE in Canada w NO RECEIPT as they will honor the warranty....props to Ogio for standing up to their product!!

  • 3 weeks later...
well here we are back to square one
my wife's bag did the same thing and now my SECOND Ogio Ozone
same issue - legs wont retract AGAIN

well, learned my lesson - OGIO bags suck teets

now what........

any suggestions out there?

it MUST be a stand bag, as I walk 98% of the time
somthing light w good club mgmnt

I like the looks of the PING Freestyle, but it seems like the clubs stick out further (you see more shaft) - anyone notice this too or is it just me?
Sun Mountain 3.5 Superlight?
Mizuno Aerolite III?

any ideas?

well, i decided to go with the Mizuno AeroLite III Stand Bag, in the White/Orange/Black Scheme
i have read that so many dudes like it, so figured why not?
i don't play anything Mizuno, but ah well...it is what it is

hopefully a better bag than the Ogio was

    • Birdied #13 at Quail Brook, which is new. Blocked tee shot right which ended up being fine because I didn't hit it well enough to reach the fescue. Had 110 to the flag and was ready to hit a 3/4 GW to it (even tagged the club) but felt the wind pick up behind me so I decided to club down to the SW and hit it to 4'. Lipped out a 15-footer on #17 for birdie for a tap-in par that also would have been new.
    • I've had a couple of good shots since the last time I posted, 1 a 90 yard approach that I manufactured with my gap wedge that I knocked to about 18 inches, 1 a ~140 yard 8 iron that I got to about 3 feet (pictured), but this week my best shot was a 60 yard pitch. It wasn't anything special but I did hit it out of a divot, so that's what I'm more proud of. Plus, i didn't really have any memorable shots this week.
    • Just a  follow up, I had the best lessons ever on gears with the best instructor! Wish I would’ve made the drive earlier in the year but put it together during a golf trip. Gears was incredible to see your swing in 3d with all the necessary data. I’ve had very few formal lessons in the past and a couple online but nothing compared to working with Erik. He made it  very comfortable and relaxed, patient with all my  questions and showed some swing comparisons of pros swings.    Our main focus was getting the pelvis to move in a better pattern and when he first pushed on my hip with that pvc going back it was like a “wow” moment. And to see the affects in real time just made it quicker to adapt and learn how to find it again, however, even without gears I’m sure it would’ve been an awesome lesson..it’s just nice for some players to see the facts, no debate… At the end of the 1st session I was shocked at the video seeing my pelvis move better, hips open, no early extension. I was literally like I can’t believe that video capture is me! I’m glad I had a second session the following morning, just to reinforce the earlier ideas and work on the next piece to complete the movement, and we still had plenty of time to mess around with lower priority ideas for later. I left that afternoon armed with a practice plan, he took extra time to show me what to look for on my own video and I got a copy of LSW. We’ll continue on evolvr for checkups until another road trip for sure! I also just ordered the stack system with his discount code to work on some speed training as well.    Just wanted to share my appreciation for all Erik’s help and anyone finding there way here like I did over the winter to give it a try!
    • Day 8. Did a bit of setup and backswing work but hip is not ready to swing yet.
