I have been trying to find information on the 200 irons with little success. Does anyone know any information about the different shaft types or any other details about the clubs? I have been searching around for a cheap set of irons and these definitely look appealing because of the price and user review on GolfReview.com. One other question I had was about the clubface of the irons. In some pictures the back of the clubface is filled in black, and in others it is silver. Anyone know why? Also do you recommend the irons? I was also looking at the Mizuno T-Zoid t3 Ti’s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what's your budget look like... if you look around at some of the major golf websites you can find some amazing closeouts on newer technology plus the option of used clubs in suprisingly good shape

I am very new to golf so I am looking for a set of irons to get my feel or "learn" the game. The TM 200's and Mizuno T3 Ti's are both under 150 used online, so I guess anything under that in my budget. I could spend more, but the thought of getting fit for a good/more expensive set of irons and retooling my swing 5 weeks later to have unfit clubs wouldn't make me happy. May I ask what some of these websites that have good deals are?

www.tgw.com - good prices, no used clubs but solid closeouts and good customer service (free shipping)

www.edwinwatts.com - decent website, but they have preowned clubs

www.golfsmith.com

but I would say your best bet is : www.callawaygolfpreowned.com
good quality used clubs, you can get older models for a pretty good price

    • Day 244 (3 Jan 24) - Friday men’s group round - a really solid front nine at one over 37 from the gold tees. Out of the 8 pars - six were up and downs…the lone bogie included a water ball penalty stroke.  At the turn, game shifted to my typical reality as it was a 45 with open and close dbls on 10 and 18, with five bogies and two pars strewn in between. Still a solid 82 overall - with 28 total putts (incl one 3 putt) 5 GIR and 5 nGIR.   Oh the highlight of the day - the ladies’ teaching pro was in our foursome and she was very complimentary of my overall approach and wedge game.  It made those drills in the backyard well worth the time spent.
