GPS Golf Shot from V.W. - Any Experiences?

I upgraded to a LG Ally Android at VW last month and downloaded SkyDroid recently for $1.99, no annual fees, and you download courses right to your phone from where ever you're at (no PC required). Have used it several times & works great.

Thanks for the info RicoLi. I decided to go with a laser rangefinder. I tried a few of the Blackberry GPS apps on the phone & many were much less than stellar so I decided to go with a laser. Plus I had a hookup & was able to get the laser for about half price!

1000% agree. I have the a droid and SkyDroid is absolutely amazing!!! Gives distances front back and center of green and also any hazards or water on the hole. It will also give a zoomed out view of the hole so u can see the entire layout if and it will show a range of distances on the zoomed out view.

I started using the iGolf Android app last week. Using in on my Verizon Incredible. It's awesome and free. Front, center, back, and custom points are free for all holes. If you want the course images you need the annual membership. I bring my Neo and let my buddies use it. I like the fact that I don't have to download course files any longer.
