I'd vote for TM580XD. Had a Ignite 410 and enjoyed it, but didn't find it as good of a club as the TM.

Driver: Dual Point 9*
Woods: Dual Point 3-wood, T-40 5-wood
Irons: r7 TP's
Wedges: RAC TP Black 52/56/60
Putter: White Steel

I love my TM R580 (no XD). I thought the Ignite had a heavy feel for some reason??? Anyone else notice that?

This is just my humble opinin, but I will never trust a shoe company to make good golf clubs. I'm a bit biased because I don't like the company. I think Nike is what hurt David Duval, even though he won't admit that.

Stick with 580xd. I still have mine.

I left my 580XD for a titleist 905s. You probably need to let the people know what you want out of a driver. But I say stick to the 580XD. Nike does not have a good resale value. (hint hint)

I'm sure Nike wasn't what unraveled Duval... I'm sure his near nervous breakdown had something to do with it, Dave is one of the most respected players on tour... back during his run as number one he had a string of issues, especially health related, with his wife and family... he realized that there were other things in life that were more important than golf... so he lost confidence for the game... and with that his swing and more importantly his competitive edge left

haha, it wasn't because he was using a Nike club

It may be just coincidence, but when he was endorsed by Titleist he was the number one player in the world. Then he switched to Nike and the slide began. I'm not sure if anyone remembers when Phil Mickelson made the comment that Tiger Woods could be even better if he wasn't playing with inferior equipment. How quickly we forget that Tiger went back to playing a Titleist 975D When that first Nike driver came out. It wasn't till the Nike Ignite came out that he went back. It happened when Fred Couples switched from Tommy Armour to Lynx.

Nike equipment has gotten alot better, and David is playing alot better.

ezmoney5150,

I'm sure the neck, wrist, back injuries along with the vertigo battles had nothing to do with his slide from the top spot? The guys on tour coule play all La Jolla bags and given a month to fully adjust, they'd be shooting the same scores now. Equipment on the tours is politics and cash, not performance. As far as Phil, wasn't he also the one who called Colin Montgomerie's Callaway clubs "shovels" during his titleist days?

And he was right. The tour irons that Phil uses are a lot thinner on the topline and sole that Callaway had 5 years ago.
