well it depends on what kind of shot you want to hit. anythony kim definatly does t

I remember watching an interview or something where he said he was always smaller than most of the guys he played with, and so he realized he would have to hit the ball with a closed clubface to make up for that distance.

A quote from Kris
...is that college bball really isn't "lower tier". The better teams have their rosters filled with guys who could play in the NBA. hell, guys used to come straight from high school to the NBA. I really don't think there's much of a difference skill-wise between the two.

what they mean is to have an inside to outside swing plane, try this, pick an iron and place a ball in fornt of you, right behind the ball place a driver cover or some kind of large cover, only about 3 inhes behind the ball though, take a swing at the ball, if you hit the cover, then you will know you hit the ball wrong. good luck

Take the club you are using, any club, and mimic your swing in slow motion. When you are on the downswing stop at the point where the club shaft is pointed at the ball directly. The plane the the club makes in relation the earth is your swing plane with that club. If on the back you take it inside that plane then you take the club back on the inside and vice versa. This changes with each club generally due to lie and shaft length adjustments. This is the only plane that matters. That is why GREAT players can have funky swings and be effective, because they get the club back on the proper plane before impact.
