I recently picked up some Mizuno MP 57s and need to get some new wedges to complete my bag. I am looking at the Mizuno TP wedges and Vokey Spin Milled.

Does anyone have any advice? I know it is whatever I am comfortable with, but if you can offer any more advice than that, I would appreciate it.

Thank you

I have both and I like the Vokey more. It seems a touch more forgiving and as far as forged or cast, they both feel great and have plenty of feedback.

Six of one, half dozen of the other.

Frankly, I'd pick the one that has the exact loft, bounce, and finish options you want. I can switch out two (54/60 and 53/60) without missing a beat.

Or if you can save a few bucks buying one over the other, get that kind. Again, they're basically identical.

The Vokeys have better grooves and will give you more spin, but the Mizzies will have more feel because they are forged.
I personally prefer the Mizzies. I used to play Vokeys and they were nice, but they are cast and dont have the feel that my Mizunos have.

When you say "Mizuno TP" do you mean the the current MP-R/T line (perhaps MP-T)? gppgolf has them for $90 now but I've seen them occasionally priced at $60 there (or through their eBay store). Picked up my 53 degree at that price...

I love my Vokey 56, I immediately dropped a shot or two when I picked it up because it's great from 50-80 yards as well as around the green. I've only hit the Mizuno's here and there, but I definitely prefer the Vokey for the feel and consistency. If I didn't already love my Cleveland 60 and 51, I'd think about swapping them out for a Vokey.

I used to play Vokeys but picked up some MP-T's when I found them for $60 each brand new. After a good range session I can say I prefer them to the Vokeys. I'm getting just as much spin and the feel is definitely better than the Vokeys. Budgetgolf.com has them for a great price right now.
