I am not a PGA instructor or professional, just a hacker, and this might not work for everyone. Yet I am thrilled and would like to pass this along to whoever has similar problems. As stated in an earlier thread, I could not hit my 3 wood at all, mostly from the fairway. And from the tee, along with my driver, I sliced the heck out of both, or would top the 3 wood. Someone mentioned choking up. I tried this, AND, turning my right hand more left(not sure if this stonger or weaker). I was amazed. For my 3 wood, I teed it up pretty higher than I normally did, and I hit it, even though it included the roll, each time, between 215 and 218 yards AND straight as an arrow. I still had problems using this wood of the fairway though. But also, my drives, using my new grip, averaged between 240 and 255 yards, again total with after the roll. Again, straight down the fairway! I just would like to pass this on for anyone to try.

strange, with a slice, that typically comes from an open clubface and rotating your grip to the left would be a weaker grip which would promote an open clubface. But whatever works for you. Maybe rotating to the left causes you to mentally do something that closes back the club face. Good luck and hit em straight.
