Ok guys, I am currently struggling a lot with my driving. It seems like every time that I tee it up, I pull it to the left. It goes good and far and it feels good but it just pulls fairly hard left and makes things really difficult. Can you guys tell me some common causes for this?

maybe a closed clubface at impact?

I think that may be one of my problems.

Yeah either that or you're closing the club face at impact. Where is your chest facing when you hit the ball? If your chest is facing right and your ball is going left you're coming over the top. If your chest is facing left an d your ball is going left you're like swinging well but closing the face at impact. Perhaps you're releasing too much?

I believe that this is my problem. I'm positive that I'm not coming over the top of the ball.

when i get the pulls with the driver its due to the clubhead outracing my hands at impact... early release... and a closed face

    • Day 197 (15 Nov 24) - Played in the Friday men’s group outing - blustery conditions in play (wind gusting 10-20; spotty pop up misting rain; temps in the mid 50’s), so it was a good day to work on course management.  Solid round of 83 (41/42) - 7 GIR, total 32 putts - included 10 pars (3 being up and downs), a dbl and triple bogie.
    • Have been on a mid to low 80’s roll of late - today was no different with an 83 (41 front / 42 back).   Played in the Friday men’s group outing - blustery conditions in play (wind gusting 10-20; spotty pop up misting rain; temps in the mid 50’s), so it was a good day to work on course management, delivering 7 GIR, total 32 putts - included 10 pars (3 being up and downs), a dbl and triple bogie.  Local course starting to get that winter feel - wet areas wetter, thin grass thinner, greens  trickier.
