U2 in Concert

Is anyone else a U2 fan? They have been touring in Europe for the last month and been getting great reviews. They start in North America on September 12th in Chicago. Anyone in Europe seen them over there?

Anyone else have tickets to one of the shows?

I have floor tickets to the October 28th in Vancouver BC. It will be the sixth time I have seen them live and can't wait.

Fan here, I last saw their show with Red Hot Chili Peppers fronting at Slane Castle outside Dublin in 2001. I may be seeing them again in Chicago shortly but don't know if I made a girl friend's short list yet.

Seeing them in Dublin would be my ultimate; I'm jealous you saw them at Slane Castle. Vancouver is the last show on their tour, so I am hoping they pull out all the stops. I know the last show on the Vertigo Tour in Honolulu they had Pearl Jam come out and play, so I am hoping for something like that.

U2 seem to like Vancouver. They were there about 10 days before the Vertigo Tour and rented GM Place to do their tour prep. There were stories on the news where they were showing up at local pubs on St. Patrick's Day and stuff like that and that they were really unassuming. As for the girlfriend's short list, I'd be going heavy on the dinners and flowers about now :)

My wife and I are big fans, but have never seen them in concert. I scored some 5th row tickets on craigslist for 40 bucks each for a show here in October, which is her birthday. We saw the 3D IMAX concert and it was awesome, so I can't wait to see the real thing.
