Anyone here have any experience with them? I'm definately in the "game improvement" category and ran across a good deal. Seems like everyone around here is selling their tournament giveaways just as I'm in the market to upgrade equipment!

These are seriously good clubs! I just bought a new set of game-improvement clubs...and I was torn between the cobra SZ's and the Nike Sumo irons and Dymo2 Driver and Woods.

I chose the Nike clubs, but it was definitely a close competition. Try them both out - ultimately it's down to what you feel most comfortable with!

I hit the SZs when I was looking for new irons recently. It seemed like no matter what I did the trajectory was really high. I know it is supposed to be high, but when compared with the other similar types of irons, these were always high and typically higher than the others.

I settled on the Callaway X-22s in the end, but I liked the SZs except for the trajectory issue.

If they work for you though, I think you'd be getting a good set.

In my X-Series Bag:

Driver G10 10.5*
Woods V-Steel 3W, 5W
Hybrids Pinemeadow ZR1 19* 3HIrons MX-19 4-GWWedge MP-R Black Nickel 54/10Putter Rossa Sebring AGSI+

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
