Wedges

i need some advice on picking out a left handed SW, GW and LB to complete my bag. not sure which ones are better than others so im awaint your advice based on whats in your bag, and or product demos, etc....

currently i have the following clubs:
2007 Taylor Mader Burner 460 graphite/stiff flex 10.5 degrees
2008 Taylor Made #3 Fairway wood graphite/stiff flex 15 degrees
2009 Taylor Made burner Rescue #3, #4 hybrid graphite/reg flex 19/22 degrees
2009 Taylor Made burner plus 5-PW steel/reg flex
Odyssey Golf- LH White Hot XG 2-Ball SRT Putter

I love my Vokey's. I'm thinking about adding a gap wedge to the mix to round everything out. The only thing is that they have a tendency to eat golf balls.

Vokey's all the way. Mizuno also makes a very nice wedge.

If your talking wedges Vokeys will always get the vote. Then Cleaveland and mizuno.

I'm using the TaylorMade RAC's and really like them, they have a better feel that the cleavland wedges. They lack the back spin that my cleavland creates but Their more accurate and feel better at impact.

Never owned a Volkey but I can vouch for the Clevelands. I've only used the CG 12s though.

anybody know of a bundled set of the volkey wedges for sale somewhere? i found one on ebay that had all three in left handed but was wondering if someone knew of someplace besides ebay?

I loved my Cleveland CG14. Out of all the clubs in my bag (excluding the Scotty) it is my favorite... sooo much control. I've never hit the Vokeys, so take my suggestion lightly.

I have a Vokey GW and a Cleaveland LW and actually prefer the Cleaveland a little more.

I had Cleveland wedges for a long time and still have a CG14 but recently got the TM TPz's and they are so sweet. Smaller head and much better feel in my opinion. The grooves are just as good, if not better than the zip grooves and the surface has the same design as the vokeys. Thought the TM's do not have as many degree/bounce options as the big two (Vokey and Cleveland) they are a great buy.

Probably can't go wrong with any of these as long as the bounce is right.

pardon my ignorance but what is the bounce option? what should i be looking for in regards to the bounce?

I am pretty sure there are threads on this site's forum as well which discuss bounce. Generally, sand wedges have the highest degrees of bounce usually between 12-16. Gap wedges and 60* wedges can vary from 6-10 degrees.

I play Vokey wedges and love them. The spin milled will defintely eat balls up like was said earlier. I have to replace my wedges about 2x/year as well. The spin though is awesome. I play about 3-4/week. I've got a 54, 56, and a 60. 54 and 60 are Spin Milled and my 56 isn't.

I play a 54.10, 56.14 and a 60.04 More bounce is better for the sand and less is better for chips/fairway shots.

I'm just starting out and I purchased a couple of Cleveland wedges and I love them. I feel like i hit very well with them even though i'm a beginner.
