My brother has a Karsten Ping Zing that he is willing to sell me for $50 bucks has a few scratches on it but thats about it. Are they reliable putters and is that a fair price?

It depends. Try it out for yourself before you actually buy it (if he lets you). If not, then it's proper etiquette to hold him in a choke hold until he lets you.


And that's not too bad of a price I guess. I don't see it going for any less than $60, or any more than $90 online. You can probably get a little less because he's your brother.

I think they're one of the best putter deals out there right now, even new. I love my Karsten Anser, and if the Zing suits your swing it would be a decent deal. I traded in an Odyssey White Hot XG9 in for mine and have consistently had 5-10 fewer putts per round.
