Are Adams and MacGregor the same?

Does one own the other? Way back in my cheap driver days, I bought a set of MacGregor clubs D-PW, and the name on the Driver was RPM. Now, you can get an Adams RPM driver. Same company by now... or is Adams trying to infringe upon one of the best drivers MG ever released?

They're not the same company, that's for sure.
