If you don't play to a single digit, you really shouldn't be playing a good-player-oriented iron (forged cavity back or muscleback). You're killing yourselves for the sake of looking good at the course. I barely make the cut, myself!

I bet this happens to all of you multiple times per round, "man, that came up short? I took enough club, but it didn't get there." What this means is: there is a big penalty for not striking it within the dime-sized sweat spot on these clubs!

Unless I mishit the ball (like a complete top), I can't remember the last time I said that. Distance control has never been a concern for me, but just to be safe I don't fire at sucker pins.
