Anyone know where I can get a double strap for a Titleist bag? A friend gave me a stand bag but it has a single strap and not a double.

The double strap in this picture is what I am looking for.

You could try getting a different brand strap, though i have no clue what is available. Looking just for Titleist ones narrows your chance of finding one very slim.

Can't remember if the original double straps for golf bags came out as an accessory for traditional bags, or if they were always OEM for new bags.

Stand bags came before the double straps.

In the early days, stand bags came with super-wide cushioned straps, a big improvement over the hard-leather- or hard-plastic durable strap used for decades. I remember I was out in California in 1996, and my old staff bag literally fell apart during a round of golf. This is when I first noticed stand bags.

Double straps showed up not too long after stand bags. Golf.com credits IZZO with inventing the double strap about 10 years ago.

I can remember many friends purchasing the Izzo dual strap when they first came out to put on their bags. I have no idea if they even still sell only the strap, but that would probably be your best bet.

You could also call/e-mail Titleist and see if they would sell you one. Chances are they might have some from defective bags or something and they could get you one.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I've been looking around, trying to buy an Izzo dual strap. One of the straps on my bag broke. Web store still list it, but no one seems to have it in stock. It's like they've stopped making them or something.

I think it's a conspiracy to force me to buy a whole new bag. But my old one still works fine, except for one strap.

Yeah, I bought an Izzo for my Ping L8, but that was about 14 years ago when I bought the bag, which is still going strong. My bag did not even come with padded shaft dividers, it's so old. I added that too.

    • Welcome back! Evolvr.com? I don't use the full extreme end of it, and that's probably dipped to 75% or so nowadays. But I use the sole more than I don't, yeah. Also… it's good to learn this shot: Middle up. Not generally outside your feet in either direction. I generally have it slightly forward of center, yeah. Short version: tip your upper body in the direction of the slope. Look at the GC3. You can find them for really good prices sometimes.
