Just curious how do you determine if your wedges are worn out? I generate alot of spin and can stop 6 irons on a dime yet even on full shots w/ my 58* i struggle to have it stop within a foot of the pitch mark because it rolls out sooo much. I have to use pure loft to stop my ball. I no longer have the low shot that stops in my bag. I cant see the little spin milled things on the middle(well we'll just say bottom half if you get the idea ) can you gys that have vokeys see the little circular markings on your wedges? If my wedges are not worn out how do i put more spin on it. I also have a big problem with rust because i have worn off the finish on the bottom half of my club to the raw metal. Thanks

Borrow/demo a newer wedge and see if the spin comes back. If you are controlling the spin with several other clubs, and not a 58º wedge, it is probably worn out.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

Run your nails over the grooves and if they catch the grooves should be OK. Either way buy one of these and it won't be an issue. I just sharpened my wedges and they are better than new.

Some people says it helps to send heavily used clubs for a factory refurbish, get the grooves redone.

I have never done it, but you might check on cost.
